Home in Jönköping!

Almost forgot to let you all know that I made it safely to Sweden on Monday! I had good flights - and I praise the Lord for that!
I am jumping right in to things here in Jönköping! Yesterday I went downtown to register for a personnummer (sort of like the Swedish equivalent of a social security number) - that´s really important, as I need it in order to really do a whole lot of anything!
I´ve also enjoyed several fikas (coffee breaks) since I got here! Yesterday I met a friend after she finished school and we had tea at a great coffee shop downtown - it was fun spending time with her!
I´m currently staying with a friend, but I should be able to get into my apartment on February 1st! I´m really excited!
There´s so much to learn and do - but I´m excited and ready for the challenge!

Thanks so much for your prayers! I´ll do my best to keep you all posted on stuff here in Sweden!

Our family has been following your blog for some time, and we're very excited that you have finally made it to Sweden! We'll be praying that God will lead you to His divine appointments, and that you will impact many lives. Looking forward to seeing what God will do!

When the Rains Descend
