It has certainly been a very wet weekend! And it definitely feels like fall :)
This past Friday I left around 5:45 am to head up to International Falls, MN (on the Canadian border) for a mission's conference. It's around a 9 hour trip - and it rained for about 7 1/2 of those hours! Also, the further north I got, the colder it got (which I liked!) I was even able to wear my winter coat for a few days!
The conference itself was wonderful! What a blessing it was to be able to be a part of it! I had such a great time in fellowship with the folks up there - made some good friends!
I am home now for the week, and next Saturday, Lord willing, I'll be driving up to the Minneapolis area for a meeting there.
Please continue to pray for me as I travel! And please pray as I am continuing to work on my schedule for next year.
Hope you all have a great day!

Go ahead and grab your umbrella, because in life, there will be times when you journey through the storms. You see, in this world in which we live, the rains will fall. That is a guarantee. Trials will come - and they are going to come to everyone. Just because you are a Christian, don't think for a moment that life is going to be easy. There will still be pain, sorrow, and heartache. The good news, however, is that, as a Christian, you do not have to weather these storms alone. You have a solid foundation in Christ.

It was a pleasure to meet you tonight at Oakdale First Baptist, Melissa.
Your heart is already so full of love for Sweden, for her people. It really was a blessing to speak with you, to have you share that love, for which I sincerely thank you.
I shall be praying for you as you continue to do the Lord's will and look forward to the day you will be home.
May our Lord abundantly bless you in the days to come.
